Obi Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana, is a billionaire Nigerian businessman. He mentioned this on Instagram Live with Daddy Freeze on Saturday.
To which Cubana said, “I have zero interest in politics.” I don't want to be a governor, I just want to look after my brother.
That's all I want to do, just donate and help people.
“I rule the Cubana kingdom. Enough of politics for me.”
Obi Cubana said he doesn't like to publicly endorse a candidate for president in 2023 because his vote is personal and he doesn't want to influence others' choices.
“I only have one vote, and who I cast it for is a secret to the public.
The vote is a personal choice, thus Cubana does not meddle with his staff's vote.
Obi Cubana gained fame in 2021 during his mother's funeral in Oba, Anambra State.
The EFCC accused him of being a “picker” for internet fraudsters shortly after his burial in November 2021.
The Cubana chairman claimed he made money from a contract to supply residences and another from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation's Pipelines and Product Marketing Company (NNPC).
