The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have announced no sit-at-homes on Wednesday and Thursday next week. IPOB relaxed the sit-at-home due to the planned Abia State High Court decision.
In Kanu's case, the court will rule on Wednesday.
It was only on Tuesday that IPOB spokesman, Emma Powerful, ordered Kanu to appear before Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court.
People in the Southeast can now go about their normal business while the court resolves on Kanu's fundamental right claim.
“We are the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB under the command of our indomitable Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,” Powerful said on Saturday. Our Leader's court appearances on January 18, 19 and 20, 2022 will only be on January 18, not 19 and 20. For obvious reasons, the entire Biafra land will be on lockdown just on January 18.
Biafrans should be aware that the 19th January is the judgment date in our Leader's suit against the Federal Government in an Umuahia High Court. So no stay-at-home on that day.
As a result of this, the sit-at-home day will only be on January 18. On January 19th and 20th, Biafrans and residents of Biafra are free to go about their business. Anyone seen enforcing non-existent Monday sit-at-home on 17th, 19th, and 20th is a criminal and must be dealt with as such.
This wave will engulf many and every principal of IPOB especially the coordinators must realize that if they don't checkmate the activities of members and call them to order, it will bounce on their heads. IPOB is not a community or a social club where cultists are tolerated.
We want to make it clear to those who advocated evil against fellow human beings that it will come back to them.
The 19th and 20th of January, there will be no Sit-at-home. In those days, no one was expected to impede human or vehicular traffic. “Any detractor or agent of darkness detected hindering peoples activities on Biafra land on January 19th and 20th will regret their actions.”
Powerful revealed that anyone spotted implementing sit-at-home on those days was not an IPOB member.
“Anyone ordering people to stay home on January 19-20 is not an IPOB member. Such people work against our leader and the entire freedom struggle. Ignore them.
“IPOB is now again under one central command and control, with no parallel or factional leadership. The global movement of IPOB is led by the Directorate of State (DOS), headed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
“Anyone who is not loyal to DOS should be ignored.
“We expect our people to follow our direction and not be deceived by dismissed IPOB members in Europe and America. “IPOB is unbreakable, founded on rock and will remain so until Biafra is entirely free,” he continued.
