Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, turned 40 on Sunday, as her fame soared with her future monarch, Prince William.
On Saturday, Kensington Palace released three new pictures of Kate to mark her milestone birthday.
The images were captured by photographer Paolo Rovers in November at London's Kew Gardens and will be added to the National Portrait Gallery's permanent collection.
Before the gallery reopens in 2023, the Duchess of Cambridge's new images will be shown in three areas dear to her: Berkshire, St. Andrews, and Anglesey.
In 2011, she married into Britain's most famous dynasty, becoming one of its most beloved royals and a key figure in its future.
In December, a televised Christmas carol concert cemented her image as a safe pair of hands.
She wowed viewers by playing piano for British singer-songwriter Tom Walker's sad ballad For Those Who Can't Be Here.

Video conferences with frontline healthcare personnel battling the outbreak have been held since early 2020.
They've also opened up about living with three kids in a huge country pile on a royal estate.
Having loosened restrictions, they have been seen at official events such as the global premiere of the new James Bond film and the G7 and UN climate change conferences.
