A court in Berlin, Germany has found a guy guilty of murdering another man and devouring his genitalia as part of a cannibal fantasy following an internet meeting and intercourse with him.
Stefan R, who cannot be completely identified due to Germany's privacy rules, was sentenced to life in prison after the presiding judge recognized the heinous nature of the act committed.
According to prosecutors, Stefan R murdered and desecrated the victim's body following sex.
Prosecutors allege that Stefan R, 42, contacted the victim via a dating app before inviting him to his home.
Once there, the victim was sedated with medicines prior to having his throat slit and his genitalia removed for consumption.
After that, the corpse was dismembered and scattered over Berlin's northeastern Pankow area.
The matter was originally brought to light in November 2020, when human remains were discovered in a local park.
The remains were positively recognized as those of Stefan T., 43, a missing Berliner.
According to the Court, Stefan R committed the murder today "to fulfill his cannibalistic desires."
Investigators discovered traces of blood, other remains, and a set of work tools at the murderer's address after following the victim's phone records.
Stefan R denied the charges during the trial, but his conviction means he will now spend the remainder of his life in prison.
