The 60-year-old Kardashian family
matriarch quizzed her ex on what the future holds during a tense trip
to New Orleans while they were standing on a balcony on Bourbon Street
throwing beads into an excited crowd.
'Kim
was telling me she asked you a question like do you want to date a guy
or a girl,' Kris said in reference to her daughter Kim Kardashian.

'I don't know,' Caitlyn, 66, insisted. 'Right now I'm just trying to figure myself out.'
'She told me that you said a guy,' Kris pressed.
Caitlyn agreed: 'If I went through final surgery and all of that. I wouldn't date a guy with…'
'You
can go out for a drink. You don't have to have sex,' Kris told her
ex-husband of 23 years. 'Let me just tell you that life is very short
and you'd better figure it out really fast.'
Pressing questions: Kris quizzed Caitlyn about her dating preferences while visiting
Kris
and Caitlyn's emotional conversation took place after the 'momager'
went to visit her ex and her new group of transgender friends during an
episode titled Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?.
Caitlyn
joked with pal Candis Cayne that they should pretend they were sharing a
room to play with Kris but also admitted she was nervous about the
visit.
'There's a lot of emotions there,' she said. 'There's 23 years of life together. That's tough stuff.

'I
always felt on the defensive with her. There's just another element
here which I don't quite understand, which I'll hopefully have time to
talk to her about.
'I
feel sometimes now she gets more upset than she was when we were
together and I don't understand why because I was very honest and open
with her,' Caitlyn said.
Before heading out for dinner, Kris and Caitlyn complimented one another on their respective outfits.

'I went brown,' Caitlyn said, referring to her choice of leather skirt.
'You certainly did. It looks good with your hair,' Kris said.
When
asked by a producer whether they were planning to join other
party-goers in throwing beads and flashing their breasts, Kris said:
'You can pull your top up. Mine is staying right where it is. Your boobs
are a little fresher than mine. You just got a boob job. Your boobs are
perky and mine aren't.'

The
light-hearted conversation between Kris and Caitlyn continued when
Caitlyn confessed she had once stolen the key to her ex-wife's closet so
she could make a copy.
But,
during dinner, tensions rose when the pair disagreed over whether
Caitlyn had been open about her gender identity issues during their
marriage.
'She
keeps saying she told me, but she didn't,' Kris told Caitlyn's friends.
'I think what happened was a conversation in a driveway.

'He
says to me ''Do you ever want to have more kids?'' and I said ''God
no''. He said ''neither do I, that's great. I couldn't have any more
kids if I wanted to.''
'I
went ''wait, what?'' and he goes ''back in the 80s I messed around with
this or that and it kind of screwed up my sperm count''. It could have
been steroids for all I knew, because he was an athlete. He never said
estrogen. He just said ''I took some s*** in the 80s''. There was no
''I'm transgender''.
Caitlyn
disagreed and insisted: 'I said I had a condition that I'd been dealing
with forever. I said that I was on hormones and that's the reason it
might be tough to get pregnant.'

Kris
told the group: 'My friends said ''have a bottle of wine, have great
sex'' and we did and we have Kendall and then a minute later we had
Kylie. But none of that was ''I want to be a woman''.'
Caitlyn
said: 'I certainly told her what was going on. I certainly said I had
gender issues and that I was on hormones and why I had boobs and the
whole thing.'
Kris,
however, stunned Caitlyn and her friends by asking what transgender
women do 'with the bits and pieces that are below the belt'.

While
Caitlyn held her head in her hands, her friend Kate Bornstein
explained: 'Genitals really have very little to do with who you think
you are, so it really doesn't matter what a person has down there.'
Chandi Moore added: 'All trans people don't choose to do that.'
Jenny
Boylan, meanwhile, asked Kris whether she thought she and Caitlyn would
still be married if she'd known about her gender identity issues 10
years ago.

'I don't know. That's a really good question,' she said. 'I probably would have turned into the world's greatest best friend.'
An
emotional Kris told Candis she was 'so happy' that Caitlyn had such a
great group of female friends and she was glad they had been able to
meet.
She told the group: 'You've all got a major 10 from me. I think you're all pretty fab. I can't wait to see you all again.

Viewers also saw Caitlyn trying on a wedding dress for the very first time.
Startled
at her own reflection while wearing the white gown, the former Olympian
said: 'Oh Jesus Christ. Oh my god' before asking her friends what they
thought.
'Did
I ever think this day would come? No,' she said. 'I've been at three
weddings with the most boring clothes on in life. Finally I get to wear
something comfortable.'
