If you thought the job of celebrity assistant sounded glamorous, it might be time to think again.
Selena Gomez had her helpful assistant hold her soggy chicken sandwich as she posed for photos on the red carpet at the KIIS FM Jingle Ball in Los Angeles on Sunday.
As the sultry brunette, 23, wowed photographers in her off-the-shoulder black gown with a side split, a male assistant was standing close by with her half-eaten fast food fix in his hand.

'The 1D
guys were feasting on Chick-fil-A in their dressing room. Selena joined
them and was scarfing down a Chick-fil-A sandwich on her way to the
stage,' an eyewitness told Us Weekly.
The
unidentified publicist is clearly visible, sandwich in hand, in a
number of pictures taken at the event as well as in video of the
celebrity arrivals.
He
has the bun gingerly between the thumb and fingers of his left hand as
Selena flashes her leg in the slit-to-the-thigh outfit.
Feeling peckish: The singer clearly

Yummy! The food item has been
identified as a Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich - a seasoned hand-breaded
boneless chicken breast in a toasted buttered bun with dill pickle chips
He's
still got it in hand as she nears the end of the line of photographers
and pauses to flick her long hair back from her face.
There's
no word on whether the singer finally finished off the carefully
preserved bite or decided it had gotten too cold and ditched it.
The rumor mill, of course, is in overdrive about whether or not Selena is dating One Direction's Niall Horan, 22.
Priorities: While the former Disney
Channel starlet focused on looking just right on the red carpet, the
assistant concentrated on keeping a tight hold on the remains of the
chicken sandwich
The
pair were reportedly spotted kissing at a friend's birthday party on
Friday and enjoying amusement rides together the following day at the
Santa Monica pier.
But
when asked about the budding romance while strolling through a
Philadelphia airport on Tuesday evening, the ex-girlfriend of Justin
Bieber chose to stay mum.
However,
the singer and former Disney tween, who's promoting her album Revival,
is clearly close to the British boy band if they're prepared to let her
make off with the backstage grub.
Suppliers? It's believed that Selena
snatched the snack from the dressing room of British boy band One
Direction who were also performing at the KIIS Jingle Ball. She's
rumored to be dating band member Niall Horan, second from left between
