Kanye West was spotted for the first time since birth of son Saint as he went for dinner on Tuesday

He is now the proud father of a bouncing baby boy, and on Tuesday Kanye West was seen celebrating the birth of his son... over some sushi.

In his first outing since welcoming Saint on Saturday, the 38-year-old left wife Kim Kardashian and the baby at home and was spotted leaving a Los Angeles restaurant after dinner.

Just one day earlier, Kanye and Kim left hospital and headed home with their son in a silver Range Rover.

The family are currently staying at Kris Jenner's house while their $20million Hidden Hills home is under renovation, People reports.

The rapper is certainly thrilled about the new arrival, but remained straight-faced as he headed back to his car on Tuesday.

Kanye was dressed down in one of his go-to looks - a navy hoodie over a long black T-shirt and jeans, along with brown boots.

The Stronger hit-maker also shares two-year-old daughter North with Kim, 35.

And Saint takes after his big sister, according to Kanye's mother-in-law Kris, who told Extra that Saint 'looks like North's twin, like a little tiny North'.

She also revealed that Kim 'was amazing' during the birth, adding to Entertainment Tonight: 'I mean, she's a really strong girl - a little cranky when she gets uncomfortable - but other than that, she's amazing.'

The 60-year-old also said that she has already fallen in love with Saint.

'He's amazing. We've only known him a few days, so we'll see if he's calm or, you know, anxious,' Kris said. 'You know, we'll see what kind of kid he is!' 

She added: 'We definitely went [to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center] quite a few times to visit him. Now he's home, so we're happy that everyone's safe and sound and all tucked in, so it's good.' 

TMZ claims that Kim's birth was a long and painful one due to placenta accreta, a serious pregnancy condition in which the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall.

This can cause severe blood loss after delivery. The reality star had the same condition while expecting North. 

Meanwhile, Us Weekly reports that Kanye is picking out a diamond push present for Kim.

'It will most certainly be something from Lorraine Schwartz,' a source told the publication, citing the jewellery designer who made Kim's dazzling engagement ring, rumoured to be worth $6million.

Kanye also gifted his wife with jewellery when she gave birth to North, apparently presenting her with Cartier bracelets.
