As his
soon-to-be wife poured her heart out on social media on Wiz Khalifa
decided to distract himself from the drama another way.
The
27-year-old spent most of the early hours of Tuesday morning bleaching
and then dyeing his dreadlocks a bright shade of purple.
The rapper posted a series of photographs as his black hair was transformed by barber Tracy Love.

Known for his fashion forward dress sense, the Black and Yellow hitmaker pushed the envelope further with his new look.
The
first stage of the process - which he posted pictures of around 5am -
saw the musician's hair turned white before a second layer of thick
purple dye was applied.
In
the half way picture, the We Dem Boyz Bash tattoo was clearly evident.
The forehead ink is dedicated to his son Sebastian, 20 months - whose
nickname is Bash.

Dubbing
the finished look 'Purple Rain' after the song by Prince, the star
seemed pretty happy with the results making the snap of the final
product his Twitter profile picture.
As Wiz was using his social media to make fashion statement, his wife of just 14 months used hers to pour her heart out.
Amber
took to Twitter Monday to explain how she is feeling since she filed
divorce paper's against the father of her child late last month.

Taking to her Twitter page on Monday, the 30-year-old wrote: 'The mornings are especially hard.
'The
pain...I wake up every morning feeling like my best friend died..... I
never knew what a true heartache felt like until now.'
Amber
had appeared to be putting the split - which was reportedly caused by
the rapper cheating on his wife with twins - behind her, heading out to a
number of parties over the last week.

whispers the former stripper had moved on with both Nick Cannon and
Nick Simmons, it appears she is still struggling to come to the grips
with breaking up with the father of her child.
In
her divorce filing, Amber has petitioned for full custody of Sebastian
with Wiz to have visitation rights. Wiz has fought back however, filing
for joint custody.
On
Sunday, the rapper did have a chance to be with his young son, with the
star seen cuddling the 20-month-old as they arrived home to his Los
Angeles house.
