Three years ago it was revealed that he was Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child.
And
Joseph Baena now appears to really be taking after his action hero
father as he armed himself for battle in a game of paintball in Los
Angeles over the weekend.
Decked
out with the necessary artillery, the 17-year-old even donned army
fatigues making the resemblance to his dad's character in the 1987 film
Predator uncanny.
His father's son: Joseph Baena now
appears to really be taking after his action hero dad as he readied to
do battle in a game of paintball in Los Angeles this weekend
Joseph teamed a camouflage print vest over a blue T-shirt, tan pants and olive green Keds sneakers.
His curly light brown hair fell to his shoulders with a pair of Terminator-esque dark sunglasses hiding his eyes.
The teenager seemed in great spirits chatting up friends and then putting on a protective mask to start the skirmish.

Although
the duo have had more contact lately, it wasn't until 2011 that
Joseph's identity was exposed, just days after Arnold's wife Maria
Shriver ended her marriage to the actor and moved out of their Brentwood
mansion.
It
came to light that the 67-year-old had cheated on his wife with their
maid Patty Baena and fathered the child - a fact Patty had reportedly
kept secret for more than seven years.

According
to the action star, it wasn't until Joseph 'started looking like me,
that's when I kind of got it. I put things together', the former
governor of California told 60 Minutes.
He
and Maria have four children - Katherine, 24, Christina, 23, Patrick,
21, and Christopher, 17, who was born just five days before his half
brother.
While
Arnold may not have as close a relationship with Joseph as with his
other children, he reportedly bought him and his mother their
four-bedroom home with a swimming pool in Bakersfield. He also gifted
the teenager a $30,000 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon last Christmas, prior to
getting his driver's license in January.
Aim: Strapped with paintball gun, he
could be seen shooting off rounds and running for cover just like his
Hollywood father did in his '80s big screen heyday.
Simulated war: Joseph hasn't revealed if he has Hollywood aspirations
Stay low: The athletic teenager stood tall walking through the battle zone
And both Joseph and Patty were in attendance at the Hollywood premiere of Arnold's latest film Expendables 3 in August.
Meanwhile his divorce from Maria is in its final stages and should be settled by Christmas.
The
former couple was able to reach an 'amicable' agreement over the
division of their vast $400 million fortune – almost three and a half
years after they separated.
Chip off the old block: Joseph appears to be the one most following in his father's footsteps
