She was perhaps embarking on a spot of Christmas shopping as she attended the Tie The Knot Pop Up at the Beverly Center on Thursday.

Actress Sofia Vergara was all smiles as the arrived at the event, hosted by her friend and co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

And Sofia certainly caused a stir with her enviably long legs in black tights and a pair of matching hot pants.

Actor Jesse and his husband Justina Mikita's non-profit organization were launching their fourth collection of bow ties.
All proceeds from the sale of the bow ties will be donated to charities promoting marriage equality on behalf of the LGBT community.

And it is clearly cause close to Sofia's heart.

Last month it was revealed that Sofia and her businessman fiancé are set to walk down the aisle in the near future, according to Nick's father, John Loeb Jr., who believes their union will be "wonderful" because they have such a solid relationship.

He told the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l section: 'They've been together for three years. He met her when she was a model. I think it would be a wonderful marriage.'

John, a former United States Ambassador to Denmark, is hopeful Nick and Sofia will decide to have a baby together wants to become a grandfather again.

He said: 'I already have two grandchildren, but I'd love to have more.'

The philanthropist's comments are a departure from previous reports, since Sofia - who has a son Manolo, 22, from a previous relationship - has so far remained coy about her plans to marry entrepreneur Nick and hinted the pair could have a long engagement.
She previously said: "I was thinking the other day that Americans take engagements like, 'OK, we're engaged. It means let's plan weddings.'
"But for a couple of Latin Americans, you get engaged, but it's like another stage in your love life. It doesn't mean, 'OK, let's immediately call the flower place.' It's like another period."
