The Michael Jackson wrongful death case just got one step closer to reaching a decision.
On Tuesday closing arguments were made for the high-profile $1 billion lawsuit the King Of Pop's family has filed against AEG, the company that was putting on the singer's massive concert just prior to his 2009 death.

Jackson family attorney Brian Panish delivered his closing argument for the 21-week trial in a heavily populated courtroom.
He explained why jurors should believe that concert promoter AEG Live was negligent for having Dr. Conrad Murray look after the Grammy winner. It was under the doctor's care that the hit-maker passed.

AEG is accused of not thoroughly looking into the doctor's background. It was argued that AEG was so eager to get the concert going that they didn't take this important step.

In 2011 the doctor was convicted of giving the pop star an overdose of propofol, an anesthetic.
Michael suffered from extreme insomnia while trying to prepare for his This Is It concert. He was 50 when he died.
AEG argues that it was the performer himself who wanted Dr. Murray to take care of him, not them, even though there is no clear contract for the doctor's employment and the agreement was mostly verbal.
The suit was brought forward by Michael's mother Katherine and includes his three children Prince, 15, Paris, 15, and Blanket, 11.
Only nine of the 12 jurors must agree as a unanimous verdict is not required.

On Tuesday the Jackson side had four hours for their presentation.
The Jackson family is asking for $1 billion from AEG because they argue Michael had a long career ahead of him and could have made that much money if his life hadn't been cut short in 2009.
Judge Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos told the jury to not take into account how wealthy the Jackson family or AEG was.
Grief was also asked to not be taken into consideration as part of the damages.
Fans have been gathering to the courtroom since day one.
The courtroom had to be upgraded to a larger one to fit the big group of lawyers, media and spectators.
Many fans, that huddled in the hallway and waited outside, just wanted to get a glimpse of Michael's mother.
