While obviously music is his passion, the 34-year-old did try his hand at investment trading earlier on.
The star made sure to ham it up on the stock exchange floor, pretending to call in stock prices on the New York building's iconic phones.

And while he may have looked a bit unsure, Usher certainly looked good doing.
Shunning the traditional trader uniform of suspenders, ties and suits, the 34-year-old went for a more rock star look.
For the bell ringing ceremony, which also celebrated the Macy's fireworks show, Usher donned black jeans and matching tight T-shirt with a navy windcheater and brogue inspired green and black sneakers.

But there was no time to take a break before the big show as Wednesday was definitely a busy New York day for Usher.
The RNB star was also tasked with the very important duty of turning on the lights of the famous Empire State Building.

Enjoying this as much as ringing the Stock Exchange bell, Usher laughed his way through the ceremony as he pulled down the big light switch.
The star then headed up to the observation deck to catch a look at the skyline he will be helping paint with colour the following evening.
