Los Angeles - Beyoncé bravely continued to perform as her hair got entangled in a fan on stage.
The singer - who is on her Mrs.Carter Show World Tour - caused panic at a concert in Montreal, Canada, on Monday when her blonde locks became stuck in the blades of a large fan blowing air onto her.
Beyoncé had been sat next to the fan - which was perched on the edge of the stage - for her finale performance of Halo when it became apparent her tightly curled hair had been sucked into the machine.
The 31-year-old pop megastar wasn't perturbed by the worrying mishap, and continued to belt out the anthem as shocked fans looked on.
The funny side
Beyoncé held onto the roots of her hair to prevent it getting tangled further, before security rushed over to the stage to tease out her tangled tresses.
The singer - who is married to Jay Z - managed to see the funny side as she later posted a handwritten note on Instagram for fans describing what happened.
Reworking the lyrics to Halo to include the incident she wrote: "Gravity can't begin to pull me out of the fan again."
The incident comes after footage emerged on YouTube of a fan fainting at a Beyoncé concert in Nashville last week.
The over-enthusiastic fan became overwhelmed after receiving a hug from the star during a rendition of her hit Irreplaceable.
