Alex Gerrard returns home from holiday in denim hotpants with her three daughters in tow

She's been sunning herself in Portugal for the last week, but Alex Gerrard looked cheerful to be back in Liverpool, but they'd have to wait a little longer to see their star footballer who is currently in Australia with his squad.
The 33-year-old wife of Steven Gerrard was surrounded by her three daughters as she made her way out of the airport, pushing her youngest in a buggy while her two other children rallied around her.
Wearing denim hotpants, Alex's tan was clear to see, despite the overcast weather that greeted them on Wednesday.

The WAG wore a gold embellished jumper and metallic ballet pumps to go with the jean shorts, and hid her eyes behind some Seventies-esque large aviator sunglasses.

She carried her travel essentials in a hot pink Mulberry tote on one arm while pushing 19-month old Lourdes in her pushchair with the other.

Nine-year old Lily-Ella and seven-year old Lexie followed their mother, with Lexie pulling one of their suitcases along while her older sister giggled beside her.

Alex has been on a health kick of late, working out with her friends and tweeting about her progress on a near daily basis.

She's also been testing out a new nutrition product called Body by Vi which offers meal replacement shakes and other food products to aid weight loss, weight management and wellbeing for those with an active lifestyle.

Alex brought the product on holiday with her, tweeting a picture of her first pack last week: 'Just had my first body bi vi shake with @DeanaMPT an @MissRachyWilson #gorjusanhealthy'.

She's been maintaining her figure by having daily runs with her girlfriends holidaying with her but every now and again the mother-of-three has been indulging in some tasty local cuisine.

Not that any overindulgence was noticeable on her taut frame, but while she's been away, Alex has had two reasons to celebrate: her daughter's first acting role on Coronation Street and her husband Steven signing his new contract to stay at Liverpool FC.

Little Lilly-Ella landed a part in the ITV soap as a non-speaking extra after she begged her midfielder father Steven to get her a role in the show.
