Cristiano Ronaldo sold his £60,000 Porsche convertible for £30,000 in exchange for singer Kimberly Wyatt's phone number.
During his first time at Old Trafford, the football star was desperate to get a date with the beautiful singer after seeing her on X Factor.
He asked Rod Thornley, a masseuse for Manchester United, to help. If he could get her phone number, he would sell him his $60,000 car.
In 2009, Giggling Rod told the amazing story in an interview for the Undr The Cosh show. He also talked about how he made money 24 hours later.
He thought back: "It's March or April, and he's going to Real Madrid. We all know that he won't be back next year.
"So he asks me, "Who is this girl?" while X Factor is on.
"It was Pussycat Dolls' Kimberly Wyatt. "Can you get me her number?" he asks.
"So I'm like, 'What's in it for me? I'm getting your numbers from everywhere, but it's not helping me in any way.
"Ronaldo asked, 'You like my car?' He had an open-top Porsche Carrera.
"He said, 'When I go to Real Madrid, I'll sell it to you for half the price. To get her number, it took me about 10 minutes.
