Roman Reigns, WWE Universal Champion, tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
It was verified by Roman Reigns on his Twitter account hours before the WWE Day 1 program.
According to the tweet, he would only return to work once he had fully recovered.
“I long to defend my Universal Championship tonight at #WWEDay1.
“Unfortunately, I tested positive for Covid-19 earlier today. I am unable to compete as planned due to protocol. I eagerly anticipate my return to action.”
They say the Universal Champion was completely immunized against the terrible sickness.
In the absence of Reigns, Brock won the WWE title match.
