Craig Burley, a former Scotland international, has advised Manchester United to trade Paul Pogba as soon as feasible.
Burley stated that if he were the manager of Man United, he would no longer rely on the France international.
He made these remarks ahead of Man United's FA Cup match against Aston Villa on Monday night.
"I can't get this guy [Pogba] out of the club fast enough," Burley told ESPN. "That's not to say he won't go back to Continental Europe, Italy, or Spain and be a success again."
"But in England, where the game is a little bit different and the climate is different, I'm not going to rely on this person if I'm a new manager at Man Utd." I want to gather whatever money I can for him and get him out."
Pogba's contract with Man United is coming to an end in the next six months.
During the January transfer window, he is able to engage with clubs outside of England.
The 28-year-old is still recovering from an injury and has yet to make an appearance under interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
