A 3-0 win over Queen of the South at Palmerston Park was a big one for Hamilton. Joshua Mullin had two goals, and Jamie Hamilton also scored.

The home team was soon down to 10 men when Willie Gibson, who had been booked for dissent after the spot-kick incident, was sent off just a few minutes later. It seems like he kept complaining.
When Hughes set up Hamilton for the goal, Accies had a two-goal lead at the end of the first half.
With a goal at the back post seven minutes later, Mullin scored his second goal. The visitors were out of sight by then.
Queen of the South is now third from the bottom after Accies won their second game in a row away.
