Cristiano Ronaldo claims wearing a disguise to a New Year's Eve club was one of the best evenings of his life. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner was celebrating with his best friend Ricardo at the moment.
Ronaldo had one of the world's most known faces at the moment, so he and his companion decided to go out and buy a fancy dress outfit.
Ronaldo told out about that night to Piers Morgan in 2020.
He said he told Ronaldo's friend Ric that they had to go out, do something, a discotheque because it was New Year's Eve.
"He answered, 'Yeah, but let's put a wig, a moustache, a jacket, something'.
This wig is wonderful, better than my own natural hair.
"We went to a rooftop bar in a hotel in central Madrid, and everyone looked at us like 'who the f**k are these guys?' Like rockstars.
Then I told Ricky we had to speak only in English so no one knew who we were.
"When we went to the bar, I said to Ricky, 'Ricky, what do you want to drink?'
"When a man behind us said, 'Cristiano, I know it's you,' I thought, no way.
It made me feel like everyone in the discotheque was staring at me because he told them I was Cristiano.
Then we went to bed and it was one of the nicest nights I've ever had. I was free."
Ronaldo has worn disguises before. In 2015, he pranked the general people in Madrid, winning millions of hearts.
The former Juventus forward did freestyle routines in Plaza del Callao, unaware that the man inside the outfit was one of the greatest footballers of all time.
From nutmegging pensioners to asking a girl for her phone number, Ronaldo was great.
In the video above, he unveils himself to the public, drawing a gathering of hundreds.
The masked Cristiano signed the boy's football and then shows himself as, well, himself - just look at the kid's face, priceless.
Ronaldo was wounded while filming, but kudos to him for making this kid's day, if not year.
