Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has the full backing of club owner Roman Abramovich in his disciplinary action against Romelu Lukaku.
Tuchel's first disciplinary step against Lukaku was to leave him out of the 2-2 tie with Liverpool on Sunday.
Belgian international says he wants to return to Inter Milan after six months at Stamford Bridge.
According to The Sun, Abramovich completely supports Tuchel's decision to punish Lukaku.
Abramovich paid Inter Milan a club record £97.5m for Lukaku last summer.
Toutefois, after Chelsea's win over Liverpool, Tuchel and his star striker reportedly had a chat and the German could recall him for Wednesday's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against London rivals Tottenham.
Lukaku is also expected to stay at Stamford Bridge until 2022 after intense talks.
