Over the weekend, claims of abuse surfaced, with the Sunday World reporting that Mohale accused the "Idols SA" judge of abuse in an interview with the makers of the reality program "Living the Dream with Somizi."
According to the weekly tabloid, Mohale informed producers that Somizi tried to kill him with a kitchen knife and then ran him off the road with his car while fleeing. The pair had been bickering over Mohale's suspected infidelity.
Somizi's management issued a statement confirming that there was turmoil in paradise, saying he was aware of the claims of abuse leveled against him.
The celebrity, on the other hand, stated that he will send the subject to his attorneys.
Somizi Mhlongo was made aware of charges made against him by his estranged husband, Mohale Motaung, which were published in the Sunday World newspaper on August 1, 2021, according to the statement.
“Given the seriousness of the accusations, Mhlongo has submitted the case to his legal team, who are best suited to handle it moving forward.
“No more remark will be provided until his legal counsel feel it necessary.”
