AXED Jose Mourinho cut a lonely figure as he had a close shave with history - when going for a beard trim at a posh barber in Chelsea. The former Blues boss, 56, looked a little scruffy as he strolled into the fancy Kings Road shop on Saturday morning.
Jose Mourinho arrived at the barber's this morning looking a little worse for wear
Mourinho also had a smart, short back and sides while at the barbers
Jose Mourinho left looking ten years younger, with a beaming grin on his face
After taking charge of Manchester United - where he was ruthlessly cut in December - the Special One could be forgive for looking a little worse for wear.
Mourinho rocked up to the West London shop wearing a white adidas T-shirt, grey bottoms and a fearsome scowl.
But prickly Jose left the "Kings Grooming Lounge" looking ten years younger, grinning from ear-to-ear after a smooth shave and a smart short back and sides.
While a morning of pampering would usually be a nice relaxing affair, Mourinho proved once again he loves to live dangerously.
The Portuguese gaffer put his life in the hands of staff at the Cypriot-run Haks Oscar barbers - letting them get up close and personal with a cutthroat razor.
CHESHIRE CAT
But if Mourinho found it nerve-wracking, imagine being the poor barber tasked with taking a sharp object to his throat.
No pressure...
But this was not your average shave, oh no. This was a £60, Haks Oscar "Hot Towel Shave".
After having oils applied to soften his skin, Mourinho had a hot towel draped across his face to unlock his pores.
Jose was then treated to a steam shave with an open razor, before having another hot towel placed over his face - while simultaneously enjoying a shoulder massage.
Mourinho then had a cold towel placed on his face to lock his pores - before being given the full facial treatment.
The now clean-shaven Jose was given a gentle exfoliation and cleansing mask as well as a "deep moisture blast" and facial.
A quick head and neck massage finished off the morning of pampering - while the barber no doubt mopped his own brow and breathed a huge sigh of relief.
Before leaving, Jose was even given the option of a squirt of "best-quality aftershave", an "arm-hand pummel" and even "manicure buffing".
It's little wonder Mourinho left the fancy barbers looking like the Cheshire Cat.
