Nigerian musician Burna Boy won the African Artiste of the Year award at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA 2019) which was held Saturday night in Accra.Burna Boy beats off Davido, Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Sauti Soul and Cassper Nyovest to win the award.
Mr Eazi took home two awards — Afro Pop Song Of The Year for Akwaaba feat. Guilty Beats, Patapaa, Pappy Kojo and ‘Best African Collaboration Of The Year’ also with Guilty Beats, Patapaa, Pappy Kojo.
