Former North West Premier Supra Mahumapelo is not giving up on his bid to head to Parliament.
He's now written to the IEC, requesting details of the complaint against him following reported objections to his inclusion in the ANC's list for the National Assembly.
He says there's been a lot of news coverage about his name being objected to as part of the party's nominees.
Mahumapelo says it's unfortunate that his name is being punted on different media platforms as someone who's failed the ethics and integrity test.
The IEC says it received objections to 30 names on the ANC list.
State capture, fraud and rape are among their reasons.
The ANC has until noon on Wednesday to respond to the submissions.
