Dunga set to meet with Brazil FA chief Del Nero on Tuesday

Brazil federation president Marco Polo Del Nero has set a Tuesday meeting with Selecao manager Dunga and technical director Gilmar Rinaldi but says he won't make a decision on their futures before hearing from the two men personally, reports Globoesporte.

Del Nero was expected to use the Copa America Centenario as an evaluation period for the two-time Brazil manager, and reportedly to be upset with the team's performance in the United States.

 Brazil crashed out of the competition after a controversial 1-0 loss to the Peru in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sunday.

Over three group games Brazil managed to score only against an overmatched Haiti side in their second fixture, failing to find the net against Ecuador and Peru.

Dunga's job has been under intense scrutiny since reassuming the national team reins following Brazil's disastrous 2014 World Cup on home soil. Under his watch Brazil have disappointed in consecutive Copa Americas -- exiting in the quarterfinals against Paraguay in 2015, and failing to leave the group stage this term.

According to the report, Del Nero & Co. have not begun the process of looking for a new manager though Corinthians manager Tite is expected to lead the list of candidates should Dunga be dismissed.

Brazil disputed the Centenario without Barcelona star Neymar, who was cleared by his club to take part in the Olympic tournament but not the Copa.

With their No. 10 absent, Brazil struggled to create and convert chances against resolute Ecuadorian and Peruvian defences, underlining a lack of talent at Dunga's disposal. However, the former Internacional manager has also refused to count on some Brazilians currently featuring at top European clubs, such as Thiago Silva of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid's Marcelo.

Dunga, who was also expected to oversee Brazil's Olympics campaign in August, will arrive back in Brazil from the U.S. on Tuesday morning.
