The 63-year-old kicked the Black Sabbath rocker out of their house when she discovered his alleged affair with celebrity hairstylist Michelle Pugh.
The pair later appeared to be on good terms when they were pictured at a launch together on Thursday, with Ozzy even affectionately hugging the chat show host - who also acts as his manager - at one point.
However, according to TMZ , Sharon has been in talks with lawyers in order to finalise their split.
“She thinks there is a chance Ozzy may be paying for it. She is a strong woman and will not be messed about. Things could get serious.

Meanwhile, Ozzy admitted his wife is "still the boss" despite the week's drama.
Sharon, Ozzy and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor all appeared to announce the merging of Ozzfest and Knotfest.
"Our wives have been very important to us," Ozzy told E! News before being asked if she is "still the boss".
"Oh, yeah," he added.
