So it was only fitting that the famous family should be the guests of honour at the post-Met Gala Balmain bash in New York City on Monday night, with matriarch Kris Jenner, 60, attending alongside her boyfriend Corey Gamble, 35.
The pair sported matching all-black ensembles as they arrived arm-in-arm, looking more loved-up than ever.
Kris wowed in a glitzy black fishtail gown, embellished with light-reflecting sequins and sheer panels on the sleeves.

Not
only did Kris coordinate with her daughter Kim Kardashian and Kylie
Jenner in their similar structured Balmain dresses, but her partner

and Corey have been dating for almost two years, getting together
shortly after Kris' 2014 split from husband Bruce Jenner, now known as
Caityln.

Met Gala outing comes after she broke down in tears at Caitlyn for
further alienating herself from their family during the season premiere
on Sunday of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Khloe
was seen calling her mother Kris to complain about the 'insane,
aggressive text messages' she was receiving from Caitlyn, insisting she
said 'nothing inappropriate' and how she had no right to expect silence
after she 'slaughtered my mother' in her own interviews.
'Instead
she tells me to get a life and shut up - and I'm like, ''You shut up
and you get a f***ing life,'' Khloe recalled angrily to her mom.
'I don't have a relationship with her, I'm done,' she insisted adamantly.

The
fiery exchange led Kris to call her ex - but only leaving her in tears
as Caitlyn remained defiant in her anger at Khloe even discussing her at
all.
'Now
you know how I feel!' Kris said angrily, still fuming about remarks
Caitlyn made in her own first interviews with Vanity Fair and Diane
Sawyer.
But
her anger turned to tears when she started pleading with Caitlyn for
understanding, sobbing: 'You were her dad since she was five years old.
Like, give her a break!'
'Being a mom can be so difficult when you have to protect your kids and look out for what's best for them,' she said later.
