Nemanja Matic has been sounded for a move to Manchester United
Express Sport understands the Portuguese will be given a £200million transfer kitty to splash out on players in the summer.
John Stones, Raphael Varane and James Rodriguez are just a few names on Mourinho's wish list.
Recent reports suggested United are mulling over making a £19.5m bid for Matic.
Juventus are also thought to be interested in signing the Serbian midfielder and have held talks with the player.
And according to the Daily Mail, Mourinho has identified Matic, who
was a key part of Chelsea's title-winning campaign in the 2014/15
season, as a player to kickstart his revolution at Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old is currently under contract with the west London outfit until 2019.
Mourinho is formally expected to be confirmed as United's new manager today.
His agent, Jorge Mendes, will fly to Manchester today to tie up the
loose ends and Mourinho will then sign a three-year contract which will
see him pocket £15m a season.
