The 38-year-old has signed a new deal with Juventus, keeping him with the Serie A champions for another two years, while Claudio Ranieri has taken the time to congratulate the Italian.
Ranieri, who has guided Leicester City to the Premier League title, sent a shirt to the goalkeeper adorned with signatures from all of his players.
The mutual respect between Buffon and Leicester can also be traced back to last month as the Italy international congratulated the Foxes for securing a place in next season’s Champions League.
