We have a game, if I lose you can kill me, but I still have a chance," said Guardiola.

According to MARCA, Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has responded to the negativity circling his team – after their poor performance against Atletico Madrid – in a humorous manner.

Bayern Munich lost 1-0 away to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night, but will be hoping to redeem themselves in the return leg at the Allianz Arena, this coming Tuesday.

"We have a game, if I lose you can kill me, but I still have a chance," said Guardiola.

The coach then went on to explain why Thomas Muller didn’t start the match at the Calderon and how his tactics dictated his team selection: “I love to play Muller, perhaps it would be better to play him, but I had to make a decision,”

"At the end I have to make a decision, but it has not finished yet, we are still in the game," said Guardiola.

Bayern will be wary that they have a crucial couple of games approaching as the side face Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday with the opportunity to win the Bundesliga title, too.
