Samantha Martial has taken to social media to share a picture of herself with her daughter Peyton after reports in the British media this week that she has split from her husband Anthony.

The Sun claims that the couple have gone their separate ways, with Samantha having recently unfollowed the Manchester United striker on Instagram.

Samantha also deleted all of the pictures of herself with Anthony on her personal Instagram account, but photos of the couple's baby daughter Peyton remain.

And Samantha posted the picture above of herself at the seaside with her young daughter on the photo sharing app on Monday afternoon.

She shared the photo and wrote: "I just want to be with you for life Peyton… I just want to be a mum…"

Reports of the split came just hours after Anthony was unable to prevent Manchester United from slipping to a 3-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon at White Hart Lane.

United are currently preparing for their FA Cup quarter-final replay clash against West Ham United on Wednesday night.
