Talking to American blog Love Brown Sugar recently‚ the Umlilo actress opened up about her life and career‚ revealing that her biggest inspiration and role model is none other than Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.
Explaining all the qualities that impress her about Winnie‚ Nomzamo said: “Just a pioneer‚ a woman of strength‚ been through a lot‚ very misunderstand but a rock.”
“I kind of relate to who she is because I am also very much misunderstood. A lot of people want to box me into being something‚ but I do know that inside I’m a rock‚ I can kind of face anything.”
The actress explained that she sees a lot of herself in Winnie and that she inspires her. “She’s one of the beacons of light that I just want to hold on to.”
