He is part of one of the most famed families in Hollywood.
But Scott Disick says Rob Kardashian never wanted to be in the spotlight.
Appearing on the Kyle & Jackie O show
on Wednesday, the estranged partner of Rob's sister Kourtney said the
reclusive star just 'got caught in the middle' of his family's quick
succession to fame and that it was 'a lot to handle for him.'

But he added that despite becoming reclusive for many months, Rob is finally 'very happy.'
The
youngest Kardashian's personal struggles have been well-documented,
however of late the Rob appears to be in a much better place after
striking up a highly-controversial romance with Blac Chyna.
'He's doing great - he's doing actually unbelievable,' Scott said of his close pal.
'He
had to take some time off and I think he was a little down-and-out but
he's doing a lot better and I think he's very happy,' he told the
Australian radio hosts.

with Blac Chyna
Scott, appearing to be drawing from his own experiences, then went on to explain how the path to fame isn't always easy.
'Things are difficult sometimes, especially when you become in the spotlight very quickly overnight,' he explained.
'Your whole life changes very quickly!'

saying of his close pal: 'He's doing actually unbelievable'
Going
into more detail, Scott said that unlike his sisters, Rob, 29, never
actually wanted to be in the spotlight and was involved by default, and
as a result was unable to deal with his fame.
'He
was just getting out of college and then he became famous quickly and I
think it was a lot for him to handle,' he explained of the camera-shy
star.
'I don't think that was the path he wanted to be on and he just got caught in the middle of it,' he said.

Scott
also explained that he and the sock mogul still shared an extremely
close bond, saying: 'He's one of the greatest guys I know.'
'He's got a good heart and he's just an amazing guy all round.'
Scott
formed an extremely close bond with Rob while he dating his older
sister Kourtney, with whom he shares three-young children, for more than
nine years,
Meanwhile, Rob has reportedly lost more than 50lbs since emerging from his self-imposed media exile earlier this year.

Much of it is thanks to new love Blac Chyna putting him on a healthier eating and exercise regime.
The
former star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and the famous video
vixen went public with their romance in January, and have been
practically inseparable since.
However, the relationship has divided the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Rob
has been bonding with Chyna's son in recent weeks and spent some
quality time with King Cairo, three, on Wednesday taking the tot to Toys
R Us.
Cairo is the son of Chyna's ex-fiancee, rapper Tyga, 26, who now dates Rob's sister Kylie, 18.
