Kelly Brook showed off her weight loss at Entertainment Weekly's Pre-Screen Actors Guild Awards party on Saturday night

Kelly Brook has been on a mission to shed a few pounds since the start of the year.

Impressively, it seems the voluptuous 35-year-old is already well en route to achieving her target weight.

The model-turned-actress showed off a noticeably trimmer physique when she stepped out at Entertainment Weekly's Pre-Screen Actors Guild Awards party on Saturday night.

Ahead of her arrival, Kelly revealed on Instagram that after just a few weeks on the Atkins diet, she has already dropped a few pounds.

'I've lost 3 inches around my waist,' she happily announced, before reassuring her loyal army of followers: 'But I'm keeping the kurves!

Kelly simply dazzled in an elegant lattice-shaped sequin dress at the lavish bash, which took place at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

The floor-length gown was designed by Cengiz Abazoglu while her sparkling jewellery was from H. Stern.

Despite appearing to have arrived at the party on her own, the star still managed to have a great time.

Kelly, who is currently residing in the States while she films new sitcom One Big Happy Family, was joined by an colourful array of stars at the party.

British stars Joanne Froggatt, Maisie Williams, Sophie Carmichael, Allen Leech and Charlie Webster were also all at the bash.

At the top of the best dressed list, however, was Katharine McPhee, who was styled in a black skater dress, and Sarah Hyland, who was the golden girl of the night dressed in a metallic crop top and skirt combo.
