The couple each wore thousands' of dollars worth of luxury labels making for a very stylish and very expensive night out.

Fans all but surrounded the pair as they headed out from their Manhattan apartment, eager to capture a picture of the reality star and the rapper.

However, despite dressing to be seen, Kim appeared a little reluctant to stop and pose.

The 34-year-old even seemed hopeful she would not get recognised, wearing her Saint Laurent sunglasses out despite it being dark.

The reality star rugged up against the cold wearing a long black trench over a high waisted black three-quarter length skirt with a black tank tucked into it.

Adding to the outfit's high price tag, Kim accessorised it with her favourite label, Hermes.

For their outing, Kim allowed her feet to get a little cold in the name of fashion, donning a pair of strappy sold out summer tan sandals.

She then matched the shoes to her bag, porting a Hermes Herbag which, when it was available, retails for over $2600.

While it may seem like the rapper was stepping out just in a casual track pants and sweater ensemble, it was far from your average tracksuit.

The 37-year-old wore a green army jacket over the top of a Rodarte sweater with a pair of En Noir Leather Sweat Pants, which cost the far from casual $1700, and added a pair of almost $300 Yohji Yamamoto Y3 Sneakers.

With such fashion conscious parents, it is not shocking that already their baby North is becoming a darling of the fashion world.

Just prior to going out, Kim posted a picture of three custom-made Balmain jackets that were created so the 16-month-old could match her mother.

Delighted with the gift, Kim tweeted: 'OMG!!!! Look what @olivier_rousteing sent North! Thank you @BalmainParis for these little custom jackets to match mommy!!!'

The adult versions of the double breasted jacket - which Kim has in a number of colours and leather - start at $2500. Specially made baby ones by designer Oliver  Rousteing are, of course, priceless.
