She's not
likely to run out of clothes any time soon, but that didn't stop Lady
Gaga from shopping up a storm in Manchester on Monday.
The
28-year-old singer headed to Affleck's Palace wearing a rather
eccentric ensemble and still sporting her new thick blunt cut fringe.
Having either shaved off or covered her natural eyebrows, the singer had painted on a new patterned set with liquid eyeliner.
Ready for Halloween? Lady Gaga sported
painted on eyebrows and a Victorian lace blouse as she left a shopping
trip at Affleck's Palace in Manchester on Monday
Splashing the cash: The 28-year-old picked up a few treats from the Manchester shopping retreat
She
wore a Victorian-style lace blouse over a leather top and bondage belt
and a long striped skirt which had pieces of brown leather running down
the front.
One
well-dressed assistant followed behind carrying several shopping bags
which included one from a vintage store as well as a couple of long
dresses in see-through bags.
The acclaimed star was mobbed by fans as she made her way out of the shop flanked by a burly bodyguard.
Holding back the years: She teamed her leather bodice and lace blouse with a long striped skirt
Cheek-to-cheek: She's in Manchester to perform with Tony Bennett, with whom she recently released a co-credited jazz album
What have you got there? A well-dressed assistant carried out some of Gaga's new treats after her spree
Hey there! The singer made sure she had time to greet her fans as she made her way out of the shops
Having
changed from the outfit she wore earlier on in the day, Lady Gaga
seemed to be following, rather than leading, the crowd when she first
stepped out.
Sporting
a thick, heavy fringe, she has clearly been influenced by Beyonce
Knowles. Boasting the new 'bangs' as part of a retro bowl-cut, the
singer was certainly keen to be on-trend.
Just
a few days earlier Beyonce had also debuted a new fringe cut as she
visited London with Jay Z and their daughter. Together, the two women
had a rare style cross-over.
Fringe benefit: Gaga continued to reinvent herself in Manchester city centre on Monday
Gaga chose to wear a floor-length silk dress with black shoes to complete her retro look.
She's in Manchester to perform with Tony Bennett, with whom she recently released a co-credited jazz album.
Speaking
to Parade magazine about her relationship with the star, Gaga said: 'I
tell Tony every day that he saved my life. I'm not going to say any
names, but people get irrational when it comes to money – with how they
treat you, with what they expect from you,'
Duets: She's in Manchester to perform with Tony Bennet, with whom she's released a co-credited jazz album
'But
if you help an artist, it doesn't give you the right, once the artist
is big, to take advantage of them...I was so sad. I couldn’t sleep. I
felt dead. And then I spent a lot of time with Tony. He wanted nothing
but my friendship and my voice.'
Her
work with the crooner had been a new direction for the star, but she
certainly hasn't been neglecting her Monsters and popular demand for her
pop persona.
She
is currently in the UK on the ArtRave tour - promoting her latest pop
offering ARTPOP - is her fourth and is due to end in late November after
six months of stops around the world.
Strictly seventies: Gaga had a definite resemblance to Margot Leadbetter from The Good Life
