And Kelly Brook, 34, certainly showed her ex what he's missing as she turned heads during a night out in Los Angeles this week.

The curvy brunette appeared to have put her heartbreak behind her and beamed as she made her way to her car after dining at celebrity haunt Cecconi's in West Hollywood.

Brook  is currently in Hollywood for pre-production meetings ahead of her new TV series One Big Happy.

 

The actress/model has thrown herself into work Stateside since her shock split from former Gladiator star David.

Despite supporting him after his eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house, their romance quickly untangled amid claims he had cheated on her with a former flame, Sarah Harper.

He wrote: 'I became friends with Sarah Harper seven years ago but only properly began spending time with her after going through a very traumatic break-up with my son's mother.

'As well as the stress of the break-up, I had finished working out at sea on stressful, and sometimes dangerous, anti-piracy operations and was drawn to Sarah's happy-go-lucky party spirit. I viewed Sarah as a friend but that was all she was... a friend, nothing more!

Sarah has since claimed to The Sun newspaper that former Marine David, 28, sent her a chilling message after she went to the press with her story.

She said: 'When he sent me a death threat my blood ran cold. I'm scared of David because he is a trained killer and I have exposed him for what he is.'
