on Friday, it was back to politics for Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was
all suited up as he shook hands with French President Francois Hollande
before a meeting at the Elysee Palace in Paris.
The
67-year-old actor and environmentalist is hosting a conference in Paris
about protecting the environment and reducing climate change.
Later the brawny star stuffed himself into an eco-vehicle to show off how roomy the car is.

And
it’s no wonder the he’s in high spirits, as French lawmakers have just
voted to make their country a little less heavily dependent on nuclear
energy.
The
lower house of parliament adopted a measure Friday to reduce the share
of nuclear energy in the electricity supply from 75 percent currently to
50 percent in 2025.
The nuclear share in the United States, in comparison, is about 19 percent.

France
invested heavily in nuclear energy in the 1960s and 1970s and has
pioneered waste reprocessing and other nuclear technologies.
But
many plants are aging and pressure has mounted to invest in renewable
energy. President Francois Hollande has pledged to reduce France's
reliance on nuclear reactors.
Arnold
is the founding chair of the R20 initiative, a coalition of partners
led by regional governments that work to promote and implement projects
designed to produce local economic and environmental benefits.

Arnold also squeezed his buffed body into a tiny green and black electric vehicle at the Paris Motor Show.
Meanwhile, Arnold has completed his work in the upcoming fifth chapter in the Terminator franchise – Genisys – out July 1, 2015.
'It
does get more difficult when you're 66 years old and doing this kind of
action, versus when you’re in your 30s or in your 40s,' the former Mr.
Olympia admitted to MTV News.
He
has also finished filming the horror film, Maggie, in which he plays a
loving father who stays by his teenage daughter’s (Abigail Breslin)
side, despite the fact that she has become infected by a disease that
slowly turns its victims into cannibalistic zombies.
