There might be many inches between them but that hasn’t stopped actress Eva Longoria and tennis pro Serena Williams from forming a solid friendship.
The odd couple enjoyed a catch up session as they strolled along Miami beach on Saturday, showing off just how much of a height difference there really is.
While Eva is best known for being BFFs with Victoria Beckham, the brunette beauty has long been a supporter of Serena's stellar tennis career - most recently cheering her on at the US Open women's finals at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York last Sunday to see Serena beat Caroline Wozniacki and walk away with her 6th US Open and her 18th Grand Slam title.

No doubt the 32-year-old was looking forward to some down time following an intense few months.
The newly crowned US Open champion looked the picture of contentment as she turned heads on the sand, displaying her muscular form in a black and lime green bikini.
As the ladies greeted with an embrace, the 5ft 9in sports star - who kept her head covered with a wide brimmed black sun hat - towered over diminutive Eva who stands at just 5ft 2in.

The pair sat down next to each other on sun lounges and it appeared that Eva was congratulating her friend as the two high fived.

She reclined in the arms of handsome Jose, who she has now been dating for almost a year after meeting him in Mexico City.

According to the New York Post's Page Six the siblings are not on good terms with Venus annoyed by Serena's partying and late nights.
Reps for both women denied a rift.
