Chris Brown avoided more jail time after pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault in Washington D.C. earlier this week.
The
25-yar-old rapper was in the mood for some retail therapy on Thursday
as he hit the shops with his on-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
Chris kept it cool and casual in a blue, brown and red plaid shirt, jeans and trainers.

Sporting a blond buzz, the singer had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and a serious expression on his face.
Karrueche,
26, was simply styled in a long grey T-shirt, ripped jeans and strappy
high heels while a dark red handbag added a designer touch.
The
exotic-looking model from LA has dated Chris on and off since 2010, but
may have won some brownie points from her rap artist beau for sticking
by his side during his day at court on Tuesday.

traveled to Washington D.C. for his court appearance and was later seen

Brown appeared in a Washington D.C. court on Tuesday, pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault.
He had been accused of punching a man who tried to join a picture the singer was taking with two women outside a hotel.
Chris was sentenced to time served - he had been in jail for two days in the case.

He had been arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault in October after the scuffle outside the W hotel.
Brown had previously acknowledged to a judge in Los Angeles that he had violated probation by committing a crime in Washington.
He had been on probation for a 2009 attack on the singer Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time.
According to TMZ, the star apologised in court and said he wanted to get his music career back on track.
