Oprah Winfrey and her BFF Gayle King enjoy a girls only holiday together in Ibiza on Friday

It has already seen the likes of Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian and Kate Moss arrive to party their way through summer.

Now, Oprah Winfrey, 60, has decided to touch down Ibiza, along with her best friend Gayle King for a girl's only holiday.

On Friday, Oprah and Gayle were seen exploring the town as they cruised round the shore on a boat, stopping to do some sight seeing.

And the pair certainly got the VIP treatment as they were helped along be security as they set foot on dry land.

At one point Gayle was even seen getting her shoe adjusted by one of their kind minders.

Oprah was dressed down in a casual pair of white trousers, matching white flat shoes and a orange top.

Arriving in the party capital: Oprah certainly didn't look as though she was ready for a night of clubbing

While Gayle wore a nautical white and blue striped dress for the day out.

It looks as though the famously friendly duo were having quite a different experience of the Spanish island too, than the rowdy celebrity crowd that have stayed there this summer.

Later that same day Oprah posted a video to Instagram where she accepted the ALS ice bucket challenge.

The clip opens with her thanking Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Tyler Perry and Nancy O'Dell for challenging her.

She then lists the people she is daring to take on the challenge including, Steven Spielberg, Dame Helen Mirren and Manish Dayal.

Then out of nowhere Gayle comes up from behind and dumps a bucket of ice over Oprah's head.

When she shrieks, Gayle can be heard asking: 'Is it cold?'

Not present for the trip was Oprah's partner Stedman.

Alright then, some boys allowed: Although it was a girls-only holiday, Oprah still enjoyed banter with a male member of the boat crew

However, Oprah was last seen with Stedman Graham, 63, earlier in the month on August 7 when she posted a picture of the pair enjoying dinner together.

The pair dined at Captain James Landing in Baltimore and were pictured chowing down on a seafood feast.
