She used to be rail thin.
But
on Saturday Lady Gaga flaunted a much healthier figure as she took the
stage in Vancouver as a part of her ArtRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball world tour.
In
late July the 28-year-old pop star, who has admitted she was bulimic
and anorexic in her teens, addressed her weight gain with a sexy
black-and-white photo that she posted to Instagram and captioned, 'Curvy
and proud.'
Putting on a show: Lady Gaga completed the North
American leg of her ArtRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball world tour with a
performance in Vancouver on Saturday
Risque: The 28-year-old pop star continued with her cheeky routines as she displayed her derriere in a G-string
Not shy: The performer showed off her rounder backside as she ran off the stage in her boots
It
was only six months ago that the New York native looked super thin in a
leather and fishnet number with platform shoes as she headed out in the
Big Apple.
Though
she has added some weight - which actually looks healthier for her
height (5ft1in) - she has not adjusted her wardrobe accordingly.
The Poker Face singer was almost busting out of her risqué costumes in Canada.
One outfit included a floral G-string and bedazzled bra with fishnet stockings that left little to the imagination.
When
she ran off the stage, her backside didn't appear to be in its best
shape. She could easily have covered up but chose not to.
Another
costume was a black shiny bondage inspired getup which looked to be a
bit tight, but was more attractive than the G-string look.
The Alejandro hitmaker also rocked a giant curly blonde wig – one of many she wore that night.
The show opened with her song Artpop, along with 13 dancers, a five-piece band, and tons of confetti, according to The Vancouver Sun.
Transformation: The G.U.Y. hitmaker appeared to be in the middle of a costume change, surrounded by several assistants
Glam: Gaga kicked off the show in a sparkling
beaded leotard featuring a giant spherical shape protruding from her
chest, teamed with fishnet tights and high-heeled black ankle boots
Ready for flight: The Vogue cover girl was almost unrecognizable in this shot with her arms stretched out
Theatrical: Gaga threw her head back, whipping her hair as she gestured dramatically
As
usual, her costume changes were plentiful.
The hit maker also emerged in a pink and purple polka-dotted octopus costume complete
with giant tentacles protruding from her head.
Gaga
also sported a glittering white gown with a dramatic high-low skirt and
a long white wig.
A sequined bodysuit with a bulb on front showed off a bit of a bump on her stomach.
Still,
her legs looked toned and her confidence made the whole look sparkle,
even though she wore a ridiculous set of wings on her back.
On
Saturday, she wrapped up the North American leg of her tour.
She tweeted
that night: 'The LAST artRAVE for the North American Leg is tonight in
Vancouver! Trend it! #artRAVEVancouver let me see your outfits and
#monsterstyle'
Sea life: She also emerged in a pink and purple
polka-dotted octopus costume complete with giant tentacles protruding
from her head
White hot! Gaga also sported a glittering white gown with a dramatic high-low skirt and a long white wig
Naughty: The Monster hitmaker wore a dominatrix inspired leotard with a green wig
Gaga is gearing up to head to Asia for performances in Tokyo, Japan and Seoul, Korea.
However, the Monster hitmaker is mourning the prospect of saying good-bye to her beloved pooch, Asia.
She
tweeted a week ago: 'They won't let Asia into Asia. Some quarantine
rules. I don't know what I'm going to do without my baby girl in Tokyo. I
had so many plans!'
More modest: Gaga covered up in a black see-through jersey
Dazzling: She rocked a rhinestone encrusted white mini-dress with a snow white wig
Gaga
Instagrammed a photo of her dog on Sunday, writing: 'My beautiful lil
bubba #asiagram I'm gonna miss her and US monsters. We've had such a
killer summer…'
On
top of her tour, she has been recording alongside legendary crooner
Tony Bennett to release a collection of jazzy tunes, Cheek To Cheek.
The album - which has seen its release date pushed back numerous times - will finally hit stores on September 23.
Moment of rest: Gaga shared this photo with her
dog Asia on Saturday, with the caption 'SEATTLE,' having performed in
Seattle on Friday
Selfie time: She shared this make-up free snap
wearing a shirt featuring her dog's likeness on Sunday, writing, 'Day
off, getting that moonglow'
A girl's best friend! Gaga shared a snap of her
beloved pooch Asia on Sunday, whom won't be allowed to come with her to
Asia where she will perform next
