Jamie Foxx was ever the doting dad as he enjoyed an outing with his youngest daughter and baby mama on Sunday.

Hitting the shops at the Malibu Lumber Yard shopping centre, the Oscar-winner displayed his affection for five-year-old Annalise, tickling her and planting a sweet kiss on her head as she
clung to her mother.

While the identity of the youngster's mom has long remained a closely-guarded secret, the trio appeared happy and at ease as they spent the day together.

The sweet little girl smiled and giggled as her famous father kept her entertained with his silly antics, acting the fool as he ambled up to her, clearly thrilled to be spending the day with his girls.

The 46-year-old was dressed casually for the outing, in black harem pants that were pulled up at the legs, a white V-neck tee featuring a large skull print on the chest, black socks with white star pattern and white Air Jordan sneakers.

He protected his eyes from the glare of the hot summer sun with large sunglasses.

His daughter donned a white top and pretty blue and white patterned skirt, while she went barefoot and carried a huge light pink backpack.

Her mom was clad in workout gear consisting of black knee-length leggings, a charcoal tank top and black and purple sneakers.

She appeared to be make-up-free, with large shades covering her eyes, her long dark brown hair pulled up into a high bun.

Speaking to Oprah Winfrey, on her show Oprah's Next Chapter in 2012, Jamie explained of his decision to keep his baby mama's identity private: 'It's just so cool and calm and that's all you need.
I need somebody who's not thirsty for what I do.'

He revealed that his dating mantra is: 'Whoever you date, don't let anybody know.'

'To me, in order to make it in this business, it has to be someone who is willing to sacrifice a little bit more than what they would sacrifice in a normal relationship.'

The identity of his older daughter, Corinne, 20, also remains a mystery.

Two other women, also dressed in gym clothes, joined the family for a chat in the parking lot, with Jamie holding court, his audience clearly impressed by his energy and enthusiasm as he chatted animatedly and demonstrated what appeared to be his best baseball swing.

According to onlookers, the star even took the time to pose for pictures with fans before collecting
his car from the valet and heading on his way.

Though it was the MTV VMAs later that evening, the actor and singer wasn't in attendance.

However, he did show off his singing chops on August 16, as he performed alongside none other than The Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney during the Apollo In The Hamptons: A Night Of Legends event, looking dapper in a funky plum suit.
