Halle Berry, 47, is regarded as one of the fittest women in Hollywood, and
keeps up her exercise regimen despite running around after her two
children.
Halle does cardio work, kickboxing, hill-walking or stair running, free weights and core strengthening
Five days a week, she does a 25-minute, high-intensity session
with a personal trainer - including cardio work, kickboxing,
hill-walking or stair running, free weights and core strengthening.
The
tough sessions are the equivalent of an hour-long workout at a more
sedate pace.
What to try:
The standing oblique flexion targets the
oblique and abdominal muscles around the waist.
With a dumbbell or
bottle of water in each hand, stand with feet shoulder-width apart and
elbows slightly bent with palms (and the weights) facing inwards.

Keep
your abs tight and slowly slide the right weight down the outside of the
right thigh as far as you can, bending the torso from the waist but
keeping the hips square to the front.
Hold for two seconds, then slowly
draw back. Repeat 12 times on each side.
