She may be
a media mogul with a estimated net worth of about $2.9billion, but
Oprah Winfrey seems to enjoy the little things in life.
The 60-year-old former talk show host is on the latest cover of O, The Oprah Magazine and in it she admits she is already thinking about the feast she will have to celebrate the American holiday Independence Day.
In
the 'Upgrade your life!' theme issue Oprah said: 'Fourth of July is
always a fun day because it’s a big decision: will I do a cheeseburger, a
veggie burger or a hot dog?'

Last
July, Oprah made light of her plight as she a picture onto Instagram of
herself holding two burgers: one vegetarian and the other beef. She
captioned the image: 'Moo or veggie? Happy 4th! We love the U.S.A.'
In
the magazine the media mogul also touches on more serious topics
including books she is excited about and how she upgrades her life.
As she topped Forbes list
of 'most powerful celebrities' last year, its hard to imagine how she
can even think of upgrading her life but she said she does it every way
she can.
Oprah
said: 'Every Oprah Show I ever taped, every magazine article I
published, every Lifeclass and Super Soul Sunday I’ve done – they all
originated with the intention to upgrade.'

already being successful she explained: 'Don’t get me wrong: I feel
blessed to have the life I’m living. Several times a day I look around
in awe of how someone like me, born in apartheid Mississippi, got to
where I am. It’s still a wonder to me.'
On
the cover of the publication, The Color Purple star dons a summery
ensemble featuring a patterned maxi skirt, yellow long-sleeved top, and
orange Tory Burch sandals.
She accessorised the look with a fedora with a yellow band over her curly locks and a pair of dangling white earrings.

Though
she seemed to be quite cheery for the pictorial, her next project will
have a much darker tone as she has signed up to take the role of
freedom fighter Annie Lee Cooper in Selma.
The movie will focus on Martin Luther King's civil rights movement, The Wrap reports.
Oprah is producing the movie along with Brad Pitt and filming has already started in Atlanta.
She recently recieved rave reviews for her role as Gloria Gaines in last year's Lee Daniels' The Butler.
Upcoming project: According to The Wrap, the
actress has signed up to take the role of freedom fighter Annie Lee
Cooper in Selma, which is focused on Martin Luther King's civil rights
movement
