Among the few that have already arrived, R&B superstar Miguel tweeted on Friday morning that he has landed in Durbs and cannot wait for the event!
He is set to do a live performance at the awards ceremony which will be taking place on Saturday 7 June at the Durban International Convention Centre.
Rumour has it that Khloe Kardashian also touched down in SA this morning.
The awards show will be premiering live across Africa on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) and MTV (DStv Channel 130) at 21:00 on Saturday.
