stepped out in yet another ludicrously overblown dress up ensemble.
And
on Thursday, the 28-year-old singer did so in what seemed to be a
homage to another powerful, female vocalist - the one and only Cher.

The
native New Yorker was rocking a slightly lighter version of the huge
curly wig that Cher sported at the end of the '80s, during her Turn Back
Time renaissance.
Gaga,
real name Stefani Germanotta, didn't go for the leotard from that
iconic 1989 video, but instead plumped for a sequin, leopard print robe
style jumpsuit.
It resulted in a Cher meets mob wife effect, a scary combination indeed.
It was on Wednesday that the Bad Romance singer opted for simple look.

Interestingly,
the New York native looked more becoming in this pared-down shot than
she has on the cover of countless fashion magazines.

G.U.Y. singer, who is currently amid her artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball tour,
wrapped up a show in San Jose, California the night before.

been preceded by a show in San Diego, California on Monday and over 10
performances in the month of May, Gaga is likely overjoyed with the
prospect of rest.
She tweeted on Wednesday: ‘Day off! Reruns of dateline, naps + deli sandwiches’

In
fact, the Versace model has a prolonged break from her tour,
with the next scheduled show on June 26 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

tweeted the night before: ‘Ok SAN JOSE this is our last show before we
take a little break for 3 weeks. We celebrate the universe of ARTPOP in 2
h 15 min!’
That
morning, she and her dog Asia had an aquatic adventure, with Gaga belly
down on a paddleboard amid a body of water, and her pooch balanced on
one end.
