Seeing florals frocks grace the red carpet is nothing new, but Hollywood's leading ladies ensured the entire forest was represented at the annual Oscar Nominees luncheon.
The Beverly Hills event was awash with colour and, thanks to Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep and Lupita Nyong'o, lots of natural-themed prints.
All three ladies took the floral trend to a new level with Meyrl and Lupita embracing prints featuring trees and Sandra donning a floral embossed ensemble.

The star - whom is nominated for Best Supporting Actress - accessorised the simply cut dress with purple velvet pointed toe pumps by Paul Andrew and a bedazzled Judith Leiber clutch.
Unlike the other two leading ladies, Sandra did embraced traditional floral but did so in an nontraditional way.
Taking a risk, the Gravity star chose a fashion forward ensemble by Stella McCartney.

For the lunch, the 49-year-old wore a silver and black metallic bustier with a long black skirt featuring the same floral pattern incorporated into it.
The skirt's pattern was what is known as a burn out, meaning the florals were created by thinning the fabric in the shape of the flowers, making the skirt sheer.
Avoiding a wardrobe malfunction, Sandra - who is nominated for Best Actress for her space film - wore a nude slip underneath.
The star then accessorized the look with simple black strappy Brian Atwood heels and a bright red clutch by Roger Vivier, which matched the red and white stripped waist belt on the skirt.

Also incorporating floral was Kristen Bell, who showed off her amazing post-baby body in a 1950's inspired dress.
The blue dress was decorated with abstract looking flowers that exploded across its more uninformed polka dot pattern like fireworks.

The actresses joined the more than 150 Oscar nominees at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday ahead of next month's big event.
Thanks to California's warm weather, Meryl was able to don a light summery dress which featured cap sleeves and finished just below her knee.
The coral and soft pink dress - which was belted on her waist - looked like a piece of abstract art thanks to the bamboo patten that was splashed across it.

The 64-year-old who is nominated for Best Actress for film August: Osage County, accessorised the look with red peep toe heels and a red, white and blue zippered clutch.
Also wearing a tree print, rather than a traditional floral, was 12 Years A Slave star Lupita.
The 30-year-old actress was a breath of fresh air as she posed on the red carpet wearing a blush pink cocktail gown with orange-coloured leaf detail.
Like Meryl's, the dress' colours threatened to clash but were made work by the fashion masters of Christan Dior.
