They always say, 'It's not what you know, it's who you know,' so looks like Lupita Nyong'o and Naomi Watts might have a better chance than most at ending up in Vogue.
The Oscar nominees made sure to talk to all the right people at the Calvin Klein show on Thursday - namely editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Dressed in their New York Fashion Week finest, the two actresses enthralled the style queen as they waited for the show to start.

Taking off her signature sunglasses, the Vogue editor could not stop laughing at the pair as they chatted away.
Of course, when the models did finally start walking down the runway, it was all business, with the trio transfixed by the very understated offerings from the long time designer.
It was lucky Lupita and Naomi wore some colour, because this season there was very little featured in the Calvin Klein collection, which consisted largely black and white ensembles with a hint of earthy tones.

For the show, Naomi donned a simple yet chic pale blue sleeveless dress that had a pocket at the front.
Taking its inspiration from 1960s shift dresses, the frock finished just above the actress' knee and featured a high neck.
The 45-year-old - who has starred on Vogue Australia's cover before - finished her look with a matching coat which she wore over her shoulders, but did not put her arms through the sleeves, with a pair of patent leather pumps, a black clutch and stacked gold bracelets.

Putting a spin on a simple updo, the Australian star wore her blonde locks pulled back into a low messy bun with her bangs fashioned into a quiff at the front.
The Impossible actress left her makeup subtle, wearing an almost unnoticeable pale pink on her cheeks, nude eye makeup with defined lashes, and a pastel pink colour on her lips.
Lupita also chose to wear a pastel look, donning a flattering soft pink shade.

The 12 Years A Slave star looked the perfect mix of conservative and pretty - with a touch of sexy thanks to a high hemline - in a long sleeved dress.
Featuring a visible weave giving it texture, the dress was belted at the Academy Award nominee's waist.
The actress accessorised the look with matching strappy heels and a grey clutch plus even had her manicure done in the same pale pink.
