Katy doesn't physically appear in the sneak peek until the very end, but what a build up it is.

The preview pays homage to Elizabeth Taylor's famous portrayal of the ancient ruler in 1963's movie epic Cleopatra.
Katy must have been excited about the artsy introduction for she took to Twitter on Thursday to post a link to the promo video and write: 'MEET THE QUEEN OF MEMPHIS (Egypt, that is).'
The promo begins with a series of animated hieroglyphics in which a story is inscribed.

A set of golden doors decorated with a pink jeweled heart open to a throne on which sits the singer in all her glinting glory.

Katy's music video Dark Horse, which is scheduled to premiere on February 20, also features Juicy J.
'She's really a genius,' the rapper told MTV News. 'She was by the mixing board and telling the guy what to take in and take out. She's really hands-on with her music. She knows music.'
